About Us

Welcome to The Gentle Wild.

We provide forest school sessions for children and their grown ups on Mitcham Common.

The Gentle Wild’s ethos is captured in our motto:

Life’s better outdoors.

We’re in the business of reclaiming a wild and free childhood in all its muddy wonder.

We’re here for fire making / healthy risk taking / tree climbing / den building / friend making /

muddy fingernails / imagination / storytelling.

We are for all children, not just for the intrepid explorers. We can’t wait to meet you!
