Service Description
Thursday 3.30 - 5.30pm Ages: Reception - Year 6 Location: Magdalene Estate, Streatham Hill - The meadow adjacent to Henry Cavendish School. After-school club for children in Reception - Year 6. Cost p/child: £15 p/session. (Email for sibling discount) **Please note, we have four subsidised spaces available p/session for Madgalene Estate Residents. If you are a resident and would benefit from a subsidised space, please email us: hello@thegentlewild.co.uk to block book for the half term. These spaces will be offered on a first come, first served basis. The perfect post-school activity; our sessions will involve a variety of Forest School activities and skills including den building, mud kitchen play, learning to use tools, wide games, bug hunting, plant identification, fire lighting, cooking, storytelling and lots of play. What to bring? Full waterproofs, spare socks, a snack (no nuts) and a water bottle. We are child-centred and operate on a low adult:child ration to ensure the children are well known, cared for and supported according to their individual needs. Our sessions are run by qualified Forest School Lead, Siobhan De Jonghe who is also Outdoor Paediatric First Aid Trained and holds Food Hygiene Level 3. All staff hold an up to date E-DBS.

Cancellation Policy
The Gentle Wild run nature based play and forest school sessions for children and their families on Mitcham Common in SW London. We can’t wait to meet you! Refund policy: Once you have made your booking, your place will be reserved and the session will be resourced according to the number of participants booked on. On this basis, we are not able to offer refunds if you are unable to attend for any reason. Under very exceptional circumstances credits and refunds will be given at the owner’s discretion otherwise the fee is non-refundable. We thank you for your understanding on this. Our staff are DBS checked and our ethos is to support each child according to their individual needs, all children and their grown ups are welcome here.
