If you wish to book a trial session, please get in touch: hello@thegentlewild.co.uk Our Home Ed sessions will follow a regular child-centric rhythm with a variety of activities available for the children to utilise according to their own design and imaginations. The sessions will be planned to facilitate rich play opportunities and will be shaped by the children’s interests. With the support of our Forest School leaders, children will have opportunities to embrace challenge, manage risk, grow in confidence and self knowledge as well as developing skills like bushcraft, whittling and cooking. Through meeting regularly, we aim to support the building of strong relationships with one another and the natural setting so that children gain confidence in the group and with being in nature. Our Forest School Leaders hold the Level 3 Forest School qualification, trained in Paediatric Outdoor First Aid and hold an up-to-date DBS. All support staff are trained by the Forest School Lead and hold an up-to-date DBS.
